So many of us often settle. Not because we can’t do better but because we think where we are is good enough. The problem is, good enough can be a trap.
This Life. This chance. This, is your life. It is your responsibility to show up, to push, to stand, to fight. For your purpose, your present, your future. These are your choices, these are your moments, these are your dreams. Stop wasting time, stop making excuses. Show up for the fight.
For one reason or another, a lot of us struggle with the idea of Monday. It could be because of a toxic work environment, an unfulfilling career or even the stress and anxiety of managing your workload and expectations. In honor of National Thank God It’s Monday Day, here are some tried-and-true actionable steps to help you blast away those pesky Monday blues.
In the midst of doing and thinking, we often forget about just BEING.
THE AVERAGE PERSON HAS ABOUT 12,000 TO 60,000 THOUGHTS PER DAY. OF THOSE, 80% ARE NEGATIVE AND 95% ARE EXACTLY THE SAME REPETITIVE THOUGHTS AS THE DAY BEFORE.
That is insane. And if insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, it’s time to silence those thoughts and choose a different path.
We show up for work and its obligations; we show up for our bosses, partners, and friends; we pay our bills on time for the fear of being penalized but a lot of us put ourselves last. We postpone our dreams and our calling, thinking that we’ll get to it at some point in this lifetime. This ride called life is a one time experience. It’s time to be a little selfish — it’s time to choose yourself.
I am so excited to announce that my book, Thank God It’s Monday — 52 Weekly Inspirational Messages To Blast Away Your Monday Blues has officially launched!
Everything that Life has taught me about saying yes to our purpose, gifts and passions is in this book and I feel equally honored, privileged and proud to share it with you. This book wakes you up; it reminds you of who you are — of your power. We are so much more than the 9 to 5; than the titles we’ve boxed ourselves into and the limits we’ve put on our capabilities.
I’m here to remind you of what you’ve forgotten.
Each TGIM message is designed to help you find your purpose, to show up for your dreams +gifts, and to help you blast away your Monday blues. Even if you don’t like to read, it’s just one message for the week; a bite-size Sunday night or Monday morning read.
Wake up, be inspired, be motivated, your real life awaits!

If you’ve ever wanted anything, you know what it’s like to have faith and you know what it’s like to lose faith. Having faith isn’t the problem, keeping the faith is where most of us get challenged. Here’s a quick dose of inspiration to help you keep the faith.
Everything that has a beginning has an end. Life will always throw challenges at us but we can take comfort in knowing that nothing lasts forever. If it has a beginning, it also has an end. Whatever you’re going through right now has an expiration date. It will end.
