Ask someone about who they are and they'll rattle off jobs, titles, company names, etc. I've been guilty of this too. My "aha moment" came when I realized that there is no job, no matter how perfect I am at it or valuable to it, that will ever feel that I am irreplaceable. The system just wasn't built that way...

We live in an age where we are exposed to everything everyone is doing and what that creates is this constant dissatisfaction and disappointment with where you are and what you have.
If you’re not careful, you’ll spend your entire life chasing what other people have, just to realize that there’s someone who has more when you get there.
The first thing that I do in the morning before my feet hit the ground is to begin expressing gratitude and appreciation for all that is, all that I am and all that I have. It’s the perfect foundation for my day and I find that by building my day on this pillar, I’ve already set the tone for what is to come.

When working towards a dream or goal, the final hours, the final leg before a breakthrough can be the hardest. How do you push through to the finish line when it feels like you don’t have that last ounce of strength in you to get to the other side?
You are enough. Just as you are. Not in the future. Not when someone else loves you or acknowledges you. Not when you finally have the perfect job. Not when you are finally “rich”. Now. Here. All of you. In all of your present glory. You are enough.
The most important time for a seed is when it goes underground. The most formative moments happen underground. Exposure at the wrong time could destroy your seed.
